Description

HydroTac border multisite is a foam dressing that adapts ideally to any body shape thanks to its special circumferential adhesive edge with incisions. As a result, fixation with a secondary dressing is not required. The foam dressing absorbs excess exudate so that no moist cavities can be formed in which germs can multiply and infections can develop. If the wound is too dry, HydroTac releases moisture from the hydrogel to the wound to prevent the wound from drying out. Growth factors accumulate on the surface of the wound contact layer, increasing its effectiveness and promoting healing. Ideally suited for wound care in cases of ulcus cruris, decubitus or diabetic foot syndrome as well as other chronic and slow-healing wounds.
