Smith & Nephew's Intrasite™ Conformable is a polyester viscose gauze impregnated with hydrogel which has a gentle yet effective debriding and desloughing action. The gel rehydrates necrotic tissue and absorbs slough and wound exudate. In addition, the Intrasite™ gel increases the moisture content at the wound surface, preventing crust formation. By keeping the wound moist, an ideal wound environment is created, which accelerates wound healing. The individually sterile packed compresses can be easily applied to the wound, even in difficult wound conditions. The wound dressing is available in different sizes depending on requirements.
