Description

Leukomed sterile is a sterile wound dressing made of cross-elastic polyester fleece, specially developed for the professional treatment of surgical wounds and accidental injuries. The supple material adapts optimally even to highly contoured parts of the body, thus ensuring secure coverage of the wound. The absorbent wound pad made of viscose fleece with polypropylene coating prevents adhesion to the wound and enables an atraumatic, low-pain dressing change without impairing wound healing. The permeability to air and water vapour reduces the risk of skin maceration and promotes a pleasant skin climate. A particularly skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive ensures reliable adhesion as well as residue-free removal of the dressing. The rounded corners of the wound plaster prevent premature rolling up and contribute to patient safety and efficient workflows in medical practices. Leukomed sterile is latex-free and therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers. The dressing is individually sterile packed and available in various sizes to ensure needs-based and hygienic wound care.
