Description

The LEUKOSTRIP™ wound closure strips by Smith & Nephew are designed for non-invasive wound closure and provide a gentle, hygienic method for approximating wound edges. The elastic polyamide material returns to its original length after application, ensuring even tension distribution and helping to reduce the risk of scarring compared to traditional closure methods. The breathable, vapour-permeable material supports an optimal wound environment and healing process. A skin-friendly, hypoallergenic adhesive ensures secure fixation while remaining suitable for sensitive skin. LEUKOSTRIP™ is latex-free. Each strip is individually sterile packaged for safe clinical use. Available in different sizes and a discreet skin-tone version, they allow flexible and inconspicuous wound care. Suitable for primary and secondary wound closure, as well as support for small surgical wounds, lacerations and skin graft fixation.
