Description

The Opraclean Absorbent Gauze by Lohmann-Rauscher is a 4-ply gauze dressing impregnated with iodoform, used for antiseptic packing and drainage after surgical removal of infected tissue. It reliably absorbs wound exudate and cellular debris, supporting effective wound cleansing. In a moist wound environment, the gauze gradually breaks down and continuously releases small amounts of iodine, with no known resistance formation.
