The OPSITE™ Visible Drain Dressing from Smith & Nephew is suitable for the secure fixation of drains. The integrated honeycomb wound pad always allows visibility of the puncture site. Thanks to the bacteria- and waterproof film, the puncture site is reliably protected from germs and liquid, so that infection is effectively prevented. Nevertheless, the drain dressing is permeable to water vapour and thus prevents moisture accumulation and skin irritation. The elastic film adapts to the body structures and can be used over a longer period of time.
