The material offers long-term tensile strength retention of up to 60% after 6 weeks, making it suitable for procedures requiring extended wound support, such as abdominal wall closure or orthopaedic surgery. Complete absorption occurs after approximately 180 to 240 days, eliminating the need for suture removal and providing reliable long-term support during healing.
