In addition to adjusting to the patient’s skin tone, the Steri-Strip Blend Tone skin closures from 3M present all the advantages of the classic Steri-Strip skin closures. This makes the wound closure strips particularly discreet, allowing them to be used on cosmetically demanding areas such as the face. The thin and discreet skin closure strips can be applied easily, are breathable and coated with a moisture resistant adhesive. In contrast to classic surgical wound care, the Steri-Strips don’t need any local anaesthetics, as they are simply applied to the skin. Reduced risk of infections in comparison to classic surgical wound closures (no injection canals)
