Description

The Surgicryl® 910 Ligapack is a braided, synthetic absorbable suture designed for reliable wound closure in a wide range of surgical applications. Made from polyglactin 910, it is absorbed by the body within approximately 56 to 70 days, eliminating the need for suture removal. After 21 days, the suture retains around 50% of its tensile strength, supporting secure wound adaptation during the healing process. The special coating allows the suture to glide smoothly through tissue, helping to minimise resistance and tissue irritation during suturing. The high flexibility and reliable knot security support precise handling and dependable knot placement. Its violet colour ensures good visibility during procedures, while the sterile airtight packaging maintains product safety until use.
