Description

Surgicryl® MONOFAST with Needle is a synthetic monofilament suture made of poliglecaprone 25. It combines high tensile strength with a predictable absorption profile, providing reliable support during the adaptation of soft tissue. The suture undergoes hydrolytic resorption and is completely absorbed within approximately 90 to 110 days. The suture is smooth and flexible, facilitating convenient handling and secure knot tying. Its uniform monofilament structure enables smooth passage through tissue, helping to minimise tissue drag and the sawing effect. As a monofilament suture, it has no capillary action, which limits the potential for fluid and bacterial migration along the suture. Surgicryl® MONOFAST with Needle is supplied sterile in airtight packaging and includes a needle, providing a ready-to-use solution for surgical suturing. It is suitable for skin closure and soft-tissue adaptation in general surgery, plastic surgery, visceral surgery, gynaecology and urology.
