Description

GapSeal implant sealant is a highly viscous, transparent silicone matrix specifically developed for the permanent and bacteria-tight sealing of gaps and cavities in multi-part dental implants. Thanks to its simple and precise application directly onto the implant using an applicator or tip, GapSeal offers an efficient solution for preventing microleakage, which is considered one of the main causes of peri-implant inflammation. Application takes place immediately after implant insertion: the material is applied generously, and by inserting the cover screw, an airtight and bacteria-tight seal is achieved. GapSeal reliably prevents the ingress of microorganisms, thus protecting the peri-implant tissue from reinfection and contributing to the prevention of peri-implantitis. Thanks to its formulation, GapSeal does not set or adhere, allowing implant abutments to be removed at any time without difficulty. The easy handling and dosing support an efficient workflow during daily work in a dental practice. One tip is sufficient for approximately three implants.
