Description

Harvard BioCal-Cap is a bioactive, light-curing MTA cement for direct and indirect pulp capping. The material with a high pH value and good calcium release promotes the formation of tertiary dentin as well as hydroxyapatite. The MTA resin-modified cement is applied directly from the syringe, thus enabling precise dosing directly into the cavity. The high alkaline pH value creates an environment hostile to bacteria, which protects against hypersensitivity. Harvard BioCal-Cap is moisture tolerant, radiopaque and suitable for the treatment of deciduous and permanent teeth.
