Description

Ketac Molar Aplicap from 3M is a radiopaque glass ionomer cement. Thanks to the practical dosage in capsules, manual mixing is no longer necessary and the material can be filled directly into the tooth. Due to its excellent mechanical properties, it is ideally suited for posterior fillings (temporary long-term restoration), deciduous fillings, core build-ups under crowns and as a base filling under composite. The cement has excellent compressive strength and minimal abrasion, it also has high fluoride ion release. The cement can be used in a similar way to amalgam.
