Cavit from 3M Espe is a tradition rich sealing gel for temporary cavity care. This provisional filling material is suited for use with occlusal interferences or as a sealant after endodontal procedures. The user-friendly application and the non-porous hardening, even when wet, are just a few of the great advantages of Cavit. The filling material can be easily removed from the tooth without the use of a turbine. Due to its good material properties and the simple application, Cavit can be used, for example, as an emergency treatment or for quick help with a chipped tooth or for a filling that has fallen out. For this purpose, the required amount is taken from the tube or screw jar and inserted into the cavity with a filling instrument. Afterwards, only the filling margins and the bite height need to be checked. The temporary filling material hardens independently when in contact with moisture. You can obtain the temporary filling material in different surface hardness and pack sizes.
