Description

The Aluderm alucap is a ready-to-use head dressing cap specifically developed for the treatment of superficial wounds and injuries in the head area. Thanks to the Velcro fastener under the chin, the dressing cap can be applied quickly, easily and securely, enabling efficient care in daily work in a medical practice and hospital routine. The aluminium-coated inner side prevents sticking to the wound, thus ensuring pain-free dressing changes as well as undisturbed wound rest. The material of the cap is soft, supple and highly absorbent (absorbency 1,400 g/m²), reliably absorbing excess wound exudate. The hydrophobised PP outer layer additionally supports breathability and increases wearing comfort for the patient. The Aluderm alucap is hypoallergenic, physiologically safe, does not shed fibres and contains neither optical brighteners nor chemical binders. The individually sterile packaging ensures a high level of hygiene. The dressing cap allows for uncomplicated wound monitoring and is ideal for superficial burns, abrasions, lacerations and cuts. In this way, it makes a lasting contribution to patient safety and user-friendliness.
