Description

The Aluderm aluface face mask is a specialised, aluminium-coated wound dressing for covering extensive facial injuries. The product features pre-cut areas for the eyes, mouth and nose, ensuring that the airways always remain clear and unobstructed breathing is guaranteed for the patient. The flexible mask shape allows for optimal adaptation to the facial contours and ensures a secure fit. Thanks to the combination of breathable polyester fleece and a hydrophobised PP outer layer, the mask is particularly highly absorbent (absorbency: 1,400 g/m²), hypoallergenic and non-adherent to wounds. These properties reduce the risk of trauma during dressing changes and enable gentle wound monitoring for the patient. The Aluderm aluface face mask is individually sterile packed, fibre-free and contains no chemical brighteners or binders, making it physiologically safe. The mask is particularly suitable for superficial wounds, burns, abrasions as well as lacerations and incised wounds in the facial area. Its use supports skin formation and wound healing and enables effective and hygienic care even for extensive facial injuries.
