Description

The Aluderm DuOcul Eye Compress is a specially designed dressing material for wound care and cushioning of eye injuries. Each pack contains two oval-shaped, jointly sterile-packed eye compresses – one made of aluderm® with an aluminium-coated wound pad and one made of DermaCare®. By combining these materials, the compress offers excellent absorbency while being non-adherent to wounds, enabling atraumatic wound care. The aluderm® component is characterised by its soft, supple structure and an absorbency of 1,400 g/m²; it is breathable, hypoallergenic and physiologically safe. The hydrophobised outer layer supports optimal cushioning and reliably protects the injured eye. The compresses are skin-friendly and contain no optical brighteners or chemical binders, making them suitable even for sensitive patients. Thanks to the sterile individual packaging in a peel pack, safe and hygienic use is ensured. The Aluderm DuOcul Eye Compress is therefore an efficient and user-friendly solution for acute care in hospitals, daily work in a medical practice, and emergency services.
