Description

The Ambu Spur II Disposable Resuscitator is a manually operated device for assisted ventilation, specifically designed for use with a single patient. The integrated single-membrane patient valve ensures reliable functionality, proven over more than three decades of clinical and emergency service use. The resuscitator bag is made from a thin, responsive SEBS material and features a textured SafeGrip™ surface that supports secure and fatigue-free handling even in high-stress emergency situations. Ergonomically designed, the Ambu Spur II for adults and children offers an integrated hand strap that facilitates even compression of the bag, enabling precise volume delivery. Thanks to a swivel joint between the valve and mask, the bag can rotate freely without the face mask needing to be removed from the patient. For space-saving storage, the resuscitator bag in adult and paediatric versions can be compressed. Patient safety is ensured by an integrated pressure relief valve, which opens at 40 cmH₂O (4.0 kPa) to prevent overpressure ventilation and resulting barotrauma.
