Description

The Nellcor OxiMax Oxiband is a reusable sensor for measuring oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate in adults, infants, children and toddlers. It is available in two versions: one for adults and infants and one for children and toddlers, allowing the sensor to be selected according to the patient group. The sensor is attached using adhesive strips, which help to keep it securely in place during measurement. Depending on the patient’s age and size, different application sites can be used: the ball of the foot for newborns, the big toe for toddlers and the index finger for adults. The choice of application site allows the sensor to be used with different patient groups and adapted to the respective measurement situation. As a reusable sensor, the Nellcor OxiMax Oxiband is suitable for repeated monitoring in clinical settings. The 25 adhesive strips included in the delivery allow the sensor to be securely fixed for subsequent measurements and replaced as required.
