Description

The PM900 / iM12 SpO₂ ear sensor is designed for precise and reliable measurement of arterial oxygen saturation in adult patients (>40 kg). Application to the earlobe ensures stable positioning and supports continuous monitoring by reducing motion artefacts through secure fixation. The sensor uses red (approx. 660 nm) and infrared (approx. 905 nm) wavelengths, ensuring accurate SpO₂ measurement in the range of 70–100% (±3 digits) and pulse rate detection from 20–250 BPM (±3 BPM). The sensor is reusable, latex-free and non-sterile, making it suitable for daily use in medical practices and hospital environments. Cleaning is straightforward using 70% isopropyl alcohol or a 1:10 bleach solution, supporting efficient and hygienic reprocessing in clinical workflows.
