Description

The user-friendly and innovative POWERHEART® G5 defibrillator is available in either a fully automatic or semi-automatic model. It is designed to treat life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular fibrillation, which can cause sudden cardiac arrest. Unlike conventional AEDs, the G5 has a dual-language function that allows the user to switch from German to English at the touch of a button, without delaying the rescue. The two-piece Intellisense™ defibrillation pads included are non-polarized and can be placed quickly and easily on either side of the chest, even by inexperienced first aiders. If required, the Intellisense™ defibrillation pads are also available with a CPR feedback sensor that monitors the quality of both chest compression depth and rate. The CPR feedback electrodes are particularly suitable for use with POWERHEART® G5 devices with ICPR. In order to be able to use the paediatric mode on children under 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kilograms, it is necessary to use the POWERHEART® G5 paediatric electrodes.
