Description

The Replant Set from Söhngen has been specially developed for the safe and qualified care as well as the proper transport of replantation specimens. With the help of the sophisticated two-bag system, a severed body part can be stored and transported in accordance with current medical recommendations: The amputated part is placed in the inner, sterile double-walled bag. For effective cooling, the included instant cold packs are placed in the outer bag, ensuring that the replantation specimen is optimally cooled from all sides without direct contact with cooling agents or moisture. This system minimises the risk of further microbial contamination and significantly contributes to the preservation of tissue viability, thereby markedly improving the chances of successful replantation. The different set sizes (hand and arm) enable a needs-based selection according to the respective clinical situation.
