Description

This lightweight, aluminium scoop stretcher is ideal for transporting patients with a suspected spinal injury. Each half of the scoop stretcher has fasteners that can be loosened and tightened without causing any vibrations; thus, fully minimising the risk of worsening the injury. The scoop stretcher is used for lifting and transporting injured patients with suspected spinal injuries. Each half of the scoop stretcher is slid under the patient and latched together. The patient is then strapped in with both adjustable straps on the stretcher to prevent them from sliding out of the stretcher. The stretcher length is individually adjusted to the patient so that the head securely rests on the head support. With the help of the openings on the sides of the scoop stretcher, it can be transported by 2 to 4 assistants.
