Description

The Airgle Titanium Pro module operates using photocatalytic oxidation. The outer surface of the module is coated with titanium dioxide, which forms highly oxidising hydroxyl radicals under UV exposure. These highly reactive compounds interact with airborne pollutants and eliminate volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as well as harmful gases and odours. In addition, hydroxyl radicals are capable of destroying cellular components and structures of viruses and bacteria, thereby reducing airborne pathogens. For bacteria, an elimination rate of up to 99.9999% from room air has been demonstrated. The Titanium Pro module is available either for the Airgle AG600 or the Airgle AG900 air purification system.
