Description

The octenisan md nasal gel from schülke is used for decontamination and moistening of the nasal atria by physical cleansing. The odourless gel can be easily applied with a swab and evenly distributed by squeezing the sides of the nostrils. Octenisan also has a preventive effect against irritation caused by dehydration. The nasal gel is used as a supportive wound treatment for lesions of the nasal mucosa and is very well tolerated. The gel provides the nasal atria with sufficient moisture should the nose dry out due to external influences, thus preventing irritation. Furthermore, the moistening promotes the maintenance of the physiological millieu, which prevents bacteria from settling.
