Description
These Halstead artery forceps, also known as mosquito forceps, can be used for short-term grasping or gripping of severed blood vessels and to stop bleeding. In addition, the mosquito forceps can be used before a planned ligature. Can be sterilised in an autoclave up to 134 °C, in a hot-air steriliser between 180 and 220 °C The artery forceps are available in surgical or anatomical versions - this means an option of with or without 1:2 teeth at the top end of the holding jaws.
