Description

The Cryoalfa LUX dermatological applicator is a precision instrument for cryotherapy of benign skin lesions using nitrous oxide (N₂O). The Liquid Freezing® technology enables rapid cooling of the target tissue, resulting in controlled cell destruction through ice crystal formation. Four applicator sizes (Ø 1–4 mm, length 22 mm) allow adaptation to different lesion types and enable targeted, tissue-sparing treatment in dermatological practice. Application is performed directly on the patient and is commonly used for warts, keratoses, and other benign skin lesions. The system delivers cryogen at approximately -89 °C, supporting accurate application and limiting exposure of surrounding tissue. Treatment is generally well tolerated and suitable for outpatient use. The glass applicators are designed for safe handling and consistent dosing. They can be exchanged via a screw mechanism and are reprocessed according to applicable standards, including steam sterilisation in line with DIN EN 285 or DIN EN 13060 (Type B). Use of original accessories supports reliable system performance. Cryoalfa LUX provides an established cryosurgical method used as an alternative to liquid nitrogen in dermat
