Description

The Cryoalfa LUX DermMix is designed for pain-free and scar-free cryotherapy of warts, keratoses and many other skin lesions. Thanks to its compact design and lightweight construction, it is highly ergonomic and easy to operate using the Flowstop single-lever system. During treatment, the device maintains a constant temperature of –89 °C. In addition to a 16 g N₂O cartridge, which is sufficient for approximately 27 treatments, the scope of delivery also includes three different applicator attachments that can be exchanged as required. With the Contact Freezing® method, N₂O (nitrous oxide) is used to cool a closed contact applicator made of palladium or gold-plated metal with diameters of 3 mm, 5 mm or 7 mm. The applicator is placed directly onto the affected skin area, enabling precise freezing exactly to the size of the applicator — without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue. In the Liquid Freezing® method, N₂O (nitrous oxide) is delivered via a microcapillary directly to the treatment site.
