Description

The Cryoalfa SUPER reaches a constant low temperature of up to –89 °C during treatment. The gold-plated applicator surface provides an additional antibacterial effect and is available either for contactless cryotherapy or with a contact applicator. The applicator cannot be replaced until the cartridge has been completely emptied. The scope of delivery includes a 16 g N₂O cartridge, which is sufficient for approximately 27 treatments or 4.5 minutes of treatment time. With the Contact Freezing® method, N₂O (nitrous oxide) is used to cool a closed contact applicator made of palladium or gold-plated metal with diameters of 3 mm, 5 mm or 7 mm. The applicator is placed directly onto the affected skin area, allowing precise freezing exactly within the applicator size — without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue. In the Liquid Freezing® method, N₂O (nitrous oxide) is delivered via microcapillary directly to the treatment site. During application, the freezing temperature remains constant at –89 °C (–128 °F), ensuring consistent and controlled treatment.
