These dressing forceps from Hartmann are a brushed steel, Peha®-instrument that can be easily and safely disposed of after use. The dressing forceps have a straight shape, are 16 cm in length and are fitted with a locking mechanism. Each pair of dressing forceps is individually sterile packed, has a sterile shelf life of 5 years and can be practically and hygienically dispensed from the supplied dispenser. The dressing forceps are mostly used to hold sterile swabs or other sterile materials. Due to their special shape and the long handles, they are also excellent for use in deeper body cavities. Another possible use of the dressing forceps is gripping and removing foreign bodies. Here, the serrated holding jaws prevent the foreign body from slipping out.
