These Halsted artery forceps are a disposable Peha®-instrument from Hartmann. Halsted forceps, also known as mosquito forceps, have a locking grip that allows the artery forceps to be held in place. The curved, anatomical Halsted artery forceps are made of brushed steel and have a length of 12.5 cm. Halsted artery forceps, also called mosquito forceps, are used for grasping and holding blood vessels. The Halsted forceps can also be used for haemostasis. Peha®-instruments from Hartmann are a safe and economical alternative to reusable instruments. These Hartmann single-use instruments are made of matted, brushed steel.
