Description

The Pleurofix® Pleural Puncture Set from B. Braun is suitable for atraumatic removal of secretions or air from the pleural cavity. It can also be used for pleural lavage and medication instillation without any problems. The air- and fluid-tight Luer-Lock safety connection enables complication-free puncture. The Pleurofiy® puncture set is optionally available with a three-way stopcock or double anti reflux valve. While the three-way stopcock, which is equipped with a directional indicator, makes it possible to see which port is open and which is closed, the double non-return valve offers protection against the fluid already obtained running back into the pleural cavity. Fluids can still be aspirated and immediately directed into the secretion bag.
