Description

The compact and lightweight smokeSTAR smoke evacuation system is a state-of-the-art device that is used to remove surgical smoke from the operating room during surgical procedures improving the safety of both patients and staff. It is equipped with a 4-fold filter system and filters out large particles, liquids, smoke gases and odours. With a filter lifetime of 35 hours, the smokeSTAR is a highly cost efficient solution. In addition, it operates with remarkable efficiency and produces minimal noise. The smoke extraction system can be combined with all units used for high-frequency, radiofrequency, and laser surgeries. By effectively removing surgical smoke and odours from the operating room, the smokeSTAR helps to maintain a clear view of the surgical field throughout the procedure. Extraction is automatic via trigger cable, foot pedal or remote control. Thanks to the tube or pen holder on the handpiece, any gases that occur during surgery can be extracted directly at the surgical site.
