Description

The Ambix Intrastick Safe port needle with patented spoon-shaped tip allows for non-punching punctures and the integrated adhesive allows the port needle to be secured immediately. The bellows provides tension relief and the flat design ensures a particularly high level of wearing comfort. The safety system with 3x telescopic pull-out completely encases the needle when pulling it out, which prevents needlestick injuries and the resulting infections. The needle irreversibly snaps into place, which can be heard and felt. To apply infusion solutions and injections, the port needle is equipped with a 20cm tube and a self-sealing safety valve that allows for uncomplicated changes of the infusion solutions or syringes. The material is DEHP, PVC and latex-free and has a high level of resistance against aggressive medication.
