Description

BD Eclipse safety needles feature a fully-integrated protective shield. The locking mechanism provides optimum protection against needle stick injuries. This ensures a safe and simple injection. The security mechanism of the safety needles was designed so that a usual puncture technique can be applied with no additional steps being necessary. The shield is simply folded over the needle and snaps in place, which can be felt and heard by the user. The BD Eclipse safety needle can be used safely with all Luer and Lock connections. The obligatory TRBA 250 legislation outlines the basic use of safe instruments in all activities in which "bodily fluids can be transmitted in infection-relevant quantities".
