The blood control technology minimises the risk of blood contact, improving staff protection and reducing cleaning costs. Additionally, the system provides effective protection against needlestick injuries, thus contributing to safety. The integrated Instaflash™ needle technology enables immediate confirmation of vessel access, improving first puncture success rates. Made from BD Vialon™ catheter material, which softens by up to 70% in the vein, the system promotes longer dwell time and reduces the risk of phlebitis by up to 50%, optimising patient comfort and care.
