Description

The BD Insyte-N™ Peripheral IV Catheter provides peripheral vascular access in neonatology and paediatrics. The needle is made from stainless steel with a bevel design to ensure minimal puncture trauma, while the size of 24G (0.7 x 14 mm, yellow) allows for a flow rate of 25 ml/min. The notched needle provides immediate confirmation of vessel entry along the catheter shaft. Made from polyurethane, the catheter softens during intravenous use, reducing the risk of mechanical phlebitis. Additionally, the BD Insyte-N™ catheter is latex- and PVC-free and is available with or without wings for flexible use.
