Description
BD SmartSite® is a needle-free valve designed to prevent needlestick injuries and thus protect healthcare workers. SmartSite® is suitable for use with low pressure injectors up to 325 psi and a maximum flow rate of 10 ml/s. As the material is metal-free, the connector can also be used in MRI. The needle-free connector is available for use with either venous (SmartSite) or arterial (Arterial SmartSite) catheters.
