Description
The BD Venflon™ Pro Peripheral IV Catheter is a is a ported, passive safety peripheral IV catheter designed to minimise the risk of blood spatter and needlestick injuries. The ported design with snap cap aids non-touch technique which prevents the port being inadvertently left open and minimises the risk of contamination. The back-cut needle design offers optimal skin and vein penetration, while the flexible wings stabilise the cannula and provide comfortable securement for the patient. The innovative BD Vialon™ catheter material softens within the vein, allowing for longer dwell times and reducing the risk of thrombophlebitis. Its high kink resistance and radiopacity make it versatile for a wide range of applications.
