Description

The BOA-Constricting IV Band from North American Rescue is an effective and innovative tourniquet. The tourniquet is applied to the upper arm and then rolled towards the elbow. This rolling action transfuses venous blood to the distal veins while still allowing arterial flow. This technique distends the veins to make IV access quicker and more effective even in the most challenging patients. The IV band facilitates venepuncture even in extreme situations and emergency operations. The constricting band is designed for hygienic single use and can be quickly removed with one hand.
