Description

The daisygrip is a novel tourniquet distinguished by its innovative magnetic closure and smart hygiene concept. The two-part magnetic fastening system can be operated with one hand, significantly simplifying blood collection. One hand always remains free — for example, to press a swab onto the puncture site after the procedure. The entire daisygrip tourniquet is resistant to disinfectants and can be cleaned with alcohol-based surface, hand or skin disinfectants. Since the tourniquet is ready for use again after approximately 30 seconds, disinfection can be carried out after every patient contact without causing delays. It can simply be disinfected, briefly left to dry while documentation is completed, and then immediately reused. The tourniquet strap is made of silicone, making it particularly skin-friendly. It effectively prevents skin pinching and excessive constriction of the arm during puncture.
