Description

DART intranasal mucosal atomizing device from Intersurgical offers painless and safe drug administration through the nose. The intended medication is drawn into the syringe in the correct dose and pressed against the nasal opening with the soft conical plug. The plug seals the nasal opening so that no more liquid can escape. The drug emerges from the syringe orifice as a fine mist and settles as a thin drug solution on the nasal mucosa, rapidly entering the bloodstream and bypassing first-pass metabolism. The intranasal mucosal atomizing device allows exact dosing, is titratable and can spray from any position. The drug atomizing devece is available with or without a syringe. To avoid the syringe popping off during the injection, Luer lock syringes should be used.
