Description

The secondary infusion line from Fresenius is used in infusion therapy to connect further infusion containers to a primary infusion device during an infusion. The Robert clamp can be used to stop the infusion at any time and the Flow-Stop Cap prevents the solution from leaking during filling. You may purchase the secondary infusion line in the standard version with a universal, vented piercing mandrel, for use with common IV containers, or with an FX filter for use with freeflex® IV bags. The 0.2 µl FX filter has six retaining claws for a closed, non-separable connection. The rounded piercing mandrel allows easy piercing while reducing the risk of injury. In addition, the hydrophilic, ventilated infusion flat filter ensures retention of bacteria, fungi and microorganisms from 2 µm in size.
