Description

The high-quality Agani™ safety needle from Terumo has been specially developed for aspiration and injection of fluids for medical purposes. They are equipped with a shield cover designed to minimize the risk for potential needlestick injuries. As soon as the needle is withdrawn the protective shield can be manually placed over the entire needle using a one-handed technique. An audible click confirms the proper activation of the safety mechanism. Once covered, the needle stays fixed in the shield and the user can safely dispose of it into a sharps container The latex- and PVC-free cannulas from Terumo can be combined with standard Luer-Slip or Luer-Lock syringes and are individually sterile-packed. The unique bevel design and precision manufacturing provide ultra sharp needles which facilitate gentle and painless puncture. They are available in many different sizes and are ISO colour-coded.
