Description

When added to culture media waste or buffer solutions, Autoclave-ExitusPlus™ effectively destroys nucleic acids during the subsequent autoclaving process. Through the catalytic and cooperative effects of the solution components, rapid, non-enzymatic, and non-sequence-specific degradation of DNA and RNA molecules occurs. All ingredients of the Autoclave-ExitusPlus™ solution are biodegradable, safe for humans and non-toxic. No aggressive mineral acids or alkalis are used, ensuring that equipment and materials are not damaged or destroyed, even with extended exposure times. As an aqueous solution, it contains no organic solvents or volatile components and produces no toxic fumes. At temperatures above approximately 50°C, both the reaction speed and effectiveness increase. Studies have shown that at higher temperatures, especially during autoclaving, the reaction speed significantly rises.
