Description

The H₂ Calibration Gas is designed for the reliable calibration of the LactoFAN2 H₂ breath analyser, ensuring accurate and consistent hydrogen measurements. Regular calibration is essential for reproducible diagnostic results in gastroenterology and supports safe clinical decision-making. The aluminium cylinder contains 12 litres of a defined gas mixture (100 ppm H₂ in synthetic air) and is suitable for up to 15 calibrations at a flow rate of approx. 0.5 l/min. This enables efficient and cost-effective use in routine clinical workflows. Calibration is straightforward, as the LactoFAN2 provides clear step-by-step graphical guidance. This ensures a safe, controlled and traceable process with minimal effort in daily use. Use with a suitable pressure regulator (available separately) ensures controlled gas flow and helps prevent unnecessary gas loss. This supports consistent calibration quality and reliable device performance. The single-use aluminium aerosol cylinder (medical device class I) meets regulatory requirements for medical use. Clear labelling and included safety instructions support safe handling. Regular calibration ensures measurement accuracy, patient safety and documente
