Description

Hepatitis-B Antigen TestHepatitis-B antigen test for the qualitative detection of hepatitis B surface antigens (HBsAg) in serum or plasma specimens. The rapid test indicates the presence of an acute or chronic hepatitis B infection. Since the test is positive before typical symptoms appear and the ALT level rises, it can detect the infection at a particularly early stage. As no buffer solution is needed to perform the test it is particularly easy to use. The result is available after 15 - 30 minutes.
