Description

The OBN 158 phase contrast microscope is a high-quality transmitted light microscope for phase contrast microscopy. It is equipped with a professional 5x condenser wheel, the phase contrast condenser, a 4x Infinity Plan objective and four Infinity Plan phase contrast objectives (PH10x, PH20x, PH40x and PH100x). The diopter compensation on both sides also enables optimum microscopy for spectacle wearers. The large stage can be loaded with two microscope slides at the same time and the specimen can be positioned quickly and precisely using the ergonomic, coaxial coarse and fine focusing knob on both sides. If required, a microscope camera can also be connected to the trinocular tube to document images or image sequences of examined specimens. The OBN 158 is particularly suitable for use in gynaecology and histology, and generally for the examination of living mammal cells and bacteria.
