Description

The complete set with the LineGene nucleic acid release buffer, dilution buffer and oropharyngeal swab is used to release nucleic acid from samples that are evaluated with acid-based assays. The components* contained in the buffer inactivate and denature the viral capsids in biological samples so that they can be processed immediately as part of PCR testing. This shortens the preparation time of the sample and speeds up the testing process. If the sample cannot be processed immediately, it can be stored at 2-30 °C for up to 72 hours, as the release buffer stabilises the nucleic acid.
