Description

These MaiMed® Bowl ECO kidney dishes made of 100 % cellulose are intended for universal use in the healthcare sector. They are suitable for collecting instruments or liquids. In the emergency room or in homes for the elderly, the tray can be used to collect vomit, for example. In doctors' surgeries or on wards, the tray is suitable for storing dressing materials or medical instruments or for collecting used materials, e.g. when changing dressings, and then disposing of them with the tray. The cardboard trays are produced without chlorine bleach using the fiber forming process. They retain their shape and form and are impermeable to a wide range of liquids even after several hours of use. The disposable kidney dishes are a hygienic alternative to conventional kidney dishes, as time-consuming reprocessing is not necessary and the dish is simply disposed of after use. The disposable trays remain impermeable to e.g. water, blood, urea solution (3 %), hydrochloric acid (0.1 M), saline solution (0.9%), acetic acid (3 %), potassium permanganate solution (0.03 %) or formaldehyde (10 %) even after more than 24 hours.
